Reading Notes: Part A of CA Kincaid's Mahabharata
These are reading notes for Part A of The Mahabharata by C. A. Kincaid.
-This talks about the 100 sons and the 5 Pandava brothers
-They are all dependents of a king
-The Pandavas were good students and the 100 sons were jealous
-Talks about the Pandavas escaping the big fire by tunneling
-The evil guy is very happy because he thinks the Pandavas perished, but it was really the low caste people who were drunk.
-This is the evil plot of someone who just seems jealous of the Pandavas
-A daughter must marry all 5 Pandava sons, there are 5 weddings.
-In these stories there are a lot of competition and jealousy.
- I will rewrite this with the characters constantly competing and being mischievous.
