All About Growth Mindset Prior to this assignment I had not heard about Carol Dweck or the concept of a Growth Mindset. I learned about this concept by reading the transcripts of the videos provided and I was very surprised by how much I learned from these videos. I feel like, in my life I am kind of in the middle in terms of how I utilize a mindset like this. I feel like I am always striving to be better and I want to learn more and do better, but I also know that at times I get discouraged and I feel like I am stuck in a rut. After watching these videos I definitely have a new outlook on learning and how I will approach new concepts. I also think that this is an important thing to be aware of and I look forward to sharing these videos with my family. One particular way that I would like to use this to achieve an academic goal will be next year in graduate school.
